6 meals a day helps to build muscle

Many people are of the opinion that having 6 meals a day is good for muscle building. This is true, if you are trying to increase your body muscle then the regular three meals a day will not suffice. It is believed that ideally you should break your intake into 6 meals to derive the best from it.

However a few factors need to be kept in mind while eating

  • include loads of red meat in your daily meals. Red meat is known to provide the required energy level to your body that is beneficial while working out
  • Include loads of fiber rich food and fresh fruits that would aid your digestive system to digest the food you eat with loads of ease.
  • Ensure that you do not end up consuming too much of fat as that would only aid in adding up to your waistline instead of helping you in building body mass.
  • It is important to include loads of nuts and oatmeal in one’s daily diet plan. These nuts and oatmeal are great for health and extremely beneficial for increasing body muscle.

  • Lastly ensure that no matter what you eat you maintain a journal of the same. This will help you understand what is good or bad for you.
